I've looked around and I think I understand the idea. but I was wondering what mythologies are being used. just Greek or all (Egyptian, Norse, etc.) I understand that this RP is about making char's and playing in a highschool setting but whats the history. How was the school founded what is the purpose. I might just be missing the idea.

2010-11-25 [La Luna]: Any mythologies its a mix the whole premis is that students from all over that have "abilities" have been brought to this school to develop there powers, its like a training school for the "Magical", the students are not allowed to leave the grounds during the school year when the leave for summer they are not allowed to talk about the school, its supposed to be a secret, to help them but for some they dont enjoy it, those are the students, others are their to keep them there, the student techer helper people, andc the teachers and headmaster, its a big thing that some students are out to unravel

2010-11-26 [MechianRed]: Umm half vampire isn't twilight as far as I know. course I could only stand the first book. Half vamps exist in dnd and darren shan. I wasn't acutually considering half vamp anyway just using it as an example. I am considering a half demon char.

2010-11-26 [Flisky]: I'm a DM for D&D and I would never allow a half vamp in any of my campaigns. It's just like taking all the good parts of a character and none of the bad. If this were my game, I would say no halfs at all. But it's not my game. :P

And yes, there are half vamps in Twilight.

True blood? or the original Dracula? I'm jumping between four possibilities right now: Demon (was originally thinking half), Vampire, Mind Reader, Gypsy.

2010-11-28 [La Luna]: Oh its based on one of my favorite books, They can go out in the sun, but they wear sunscreen other wise they will get headaches migranes and 3rd degree burns. Garlic, Crosses and holy water dont hurt them, they do sleep, they dont have to sleep in coffins, they are stronger and faster then normal humans, they are invisable in mirrors, only their skin and hair, if they dont dye their hair, they have to take a daily recomened amout of a pint of blood every morning and night and THEY DO NOT SPARKLE!!!!!!!!!!!

2011-09-04 [La Luna]: Oh yes. They have a pool and a lake. But the lake is on the private property so they wont be bothered. And I guess they would have to be able to form legs for classes. And there rooms could be specialized for them.

Now in some lore, the incubus was capable of changing his shape to that of a woman based on his prey - essentially saying that the succubus and incubus are the same. Just making sure that's gonna fly, because that's my favorite.
